01 - Attorney
Ceren Kurt
Commercial Lawyer
·
PArtner
Ceren leads the commercial desk. She advises founders and boards on structuring, contracts and disputes, and has argued before commercial courts for over a decade.
02 - biography
Ceren joined CRN in 2011 after three years at a regional commercial litigation boutique, and became a partner in 2016. Her practice sits at the point where a deal, a dispute or a regulator meets a company: she drafts the agreement, and if it fails, she argues it. Her clients are mostly founder-led companies and their investors — people who want one attorney who knows the whole file. She is known for short written assessments, fixed-fee scoping on advisory work, and a dislike of surprises in both directions.
The best contract is the one nobody has to read again. The second best is the one that holds up when they do.
