Eren heads the criminal defense practice. He represents individuals and executives in investigations, white-collar matters and trials, from the first interview to the final verdict.
02 - biography
Eren joined CRN in 2015 after six years as an assistant public defender in Cook County, where he tried more than forty cases to verdict. He became a partner in 2020 and built the firm’s criminal defense desk from the ground up. Most of his clients call him on the worst day of their year. He is known for calm early advice, careful work on evidence, and telling clients plainly what the realistic outcomes are before anything is filed.
Every case is decided twice. Once in the file, and once in the courtroom. I try to win the first one.
